The situation has been getting slowly worse and now it is unbearable, I now get low memory crashes on the daily, when playing games such as rocket league and CSGO, and after a while even chrome is closed for too much memory use. Also, if I try to play more intensive games like the witcher I get a blue screen saying "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kbase.sys). I have tried a fresh install of windows and have run many memory tests including memtest which has come up with no errors as well as using a different set of ram which made no difference. I don't know what the issue is but I think it might be the motherboard.

Please help!!

Can you open task manager and see how much of the memory is being reported as in use when gaming (this screen in Windows 88/8.1/10, in Windows 7 it's the "resources" tab IIRC)?

Thats not a memory issue i think, when i overclock and its unstable it crashes with that same message. Maybe you overclocked too much? maybe its a power delivery issue? Hard drive/SSD issue?

Hope this helps :P

try running a system stress test, like aida64. and if the blue screen occurs then its a power issue.

Hope you get the problem fixed soon :P

It could be a operating system issue or program issue thats causing it then. It does say  SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION so i'm assuming its a software issue. How old is your operating system? if you upgraded from another windows that may have done some crap.

Hope this helps :P

Try going to settings, Update and security, Recovery then click reset this PC. And follow what it wants you to do :P

Does the error only happen with some games? or some programs? or randomly?

No, it happens with all games other than super unintensive ones like titan souls or super meat boy, and programs like dashlane, skype, chrome and Displayfusion all eventually need to be closed due to the issue.

Have you tried furmark? and stress your graphics card?

Yes, I have run 3D mark a lot.

No, try furmark. It will stress your gpu to the upper limit to see if its actually a power issue. Because 3D mark isn't really intensive.

Given that you have a second memory kit - have you tried simply running more RAM to see if it stops the problem?
