FreeNAS Official Download Server Slow?

It took me about three hours to download the latest 9.3 stable release, so to save others some time I've set up some torrents of FreeNAS 9.3 Stable and 10.3 Alpha. Currently seeding on a 500Mbps uplink but feel free to contribute to its availability.

FreeNAS_9.3_(03-02-2016)_x64 torrent

FreeNAS_10.3_(11-03-2016)_x64 torrent

sha256 checksum is included in the torrent, feel free to check it against the Official FreeNAS site.

Open to any additional input, feel free to discuss below!

i'm not sure what freenas' license is on this, but this may fall under redistribuding copyrighted software, which is a no-no on this forum.

should also add that the download seems to be just fine for me.

I seriously couldn't get the DL to budge much more than 100KB/s, and I haven't found anything against redist on their site. Have also posted to their forum so I'll see what's said there, could have missed something.

you can have all the uplink you want, if theres congestion on the line between you and freenas you're just sitting ducks.

I understand that, but I've never had it drop down quite that far.

Slingshot...theres the problem.

download.freenas.org uses anycastcdn, its not the server thats slow, it's your route.

Working just fine here on Spark
