Brand New PC freezing - Help!

so i build a pc early this year and i got no issues at all with it but today it did just freeze when i was starting msi afterburner while watching a video in chrome. when it happened there was this sound:

Did you preform burn in tests after you made new pc.

Also you could list pc parts. What bench are you using to check gpu oc. Might be afterburner settings which you should check if you enaled something wrongly.

i didn´t overclock it yet - my specs are 6700k; r9 390x; gigabyte gaming e3; corsair vengeance 16 gb

i did stress test it with firestrike and everything worked fine

I had the same  thing when my GPU was overheating, funky sound then a system reboot. Try looking at temps on CPU GPU see if the temps are in order.

it happened at idle; cpu was around 30°C and gpu around 60

Try replicate the shutdown, burn it stress it again and see if that happens. Try different things put load on CPU and GPU separately, see which one is causing the issue.
