Deepcool gamerstorm assassin

Hi,I've decided to buy a deepcool assassin cooler for my cpu.Any precautions or things I may need to know before I get it? Like the ram compatibility for example,one site said that it takes up 3 ram slots on an atx motherboard.I'm getting an asrock z77 professional motherboard.IT HAS ONLY FOUR SLOTS!! How can I use it if this thing takes up 3 slots? I was planning on getting gskill or corsair vengeance 2 x 4gigs

If it takes up 3 slots, and you're getting a dual-channel board, you're either going to have to get some low profile RAM or a different CPU cooler. Something like Corsair Vengeance Low Profile RAM should work, but be sure to check the clearance before you make the purchase.

Alright how do I find out the clearance orwhether the ram is a low profile ram which fits.Is there a list or something or do all low profile ram chips generally fit below big coolers?

i was going to get that one for my fx 8350, but it seems it cudnt fit properly cuz of my ram, so I have decided to buy a h80i from ebay, havent bought it yet, but will do so in the future

vengeance has pretty high heat sinks, you will have to remove them for everything to fit.

the set aroundwayotherthe posted should fit just fine, because the heatsink wraps right around the board and adds almost no height.
