Yo, im looking to upgrade my GPU, but not sure if its worth doin now or waiting for the new series. But if anyone has an idea for a 1080p GPU that would be good atm, id love to hear about it.

Atm using 280x, with an i7 4790k CPU, and running games on a Cruicial MX200 M.2.

Atm no budget, want to have it for a longtime, and preffer its not too pricy.

From 2001-2014 I had 156Kb/s Down and 0,02 Kb/s up. Now I have 35/35 Mb/s, it has truly changed my life.

I'd probably wait. The R9 280X is more than capable for now.

980TI seems great, but would you explain to me if you can ofc. Why it is better than the 980 or Fury X? Use simple words and sentances im dyslexic so reading walls is not really possible.

well if you have no budget, a 4 way titan x would probably run 1080p at around 60fps

It was a joke. Because the 980Ti is the best consumer card available right now. It's kinda held back by 1080P.

At 1080P, a great price to performance card would be a 380(X)

nVidia cards tend to be a bit more expensive than AMD cards for the performance, but they also have more features. Such as streaming, ShadowPlay etc.

Problem here is, that I cant see how 8 GB Vram will be of any use for a 1080p. Sure if i was running 4k that would be good, even better than 980, but for my needs i think it would be overkill amount of vram.
