does the motherboard and power supply come with cables or do I have to buy them separately? thanks in advance

(i am a noob so i have no idea.)

Depends.  Mobo often comes with sata connectors,  all power supplies come with cables.  I'd buy a few extra sata connectors to be sure.  Check what comes with mobo. 

I try to answer the best I can.
