anything non-conductive would be fine. I wrapped an old one I had in elastic bands, so it was kind of a usb rubber band ball.

I was thinking of some tape, but I don't want to break something. :P I want to use something I would have around the house, as I really can't go out right now

tape is just fine, as long as you don't wrap it so tight that something breaks.

Duct tape will solve the problem!
