old hardware preformance expectations

Found a guy that might be willing to trade me his PC for some of my shit i dont care about(MTG cards and stuff like that) and it has a radeon 6950, 8GB of ram and a phenom ii x6 1050t, so i was wondering what kind of preformance i could expect from that, how would it compare to my brothers rig for example: 750TI, AMD fx6300 and 8GB of ram? was thinking of what i could use it for, its not like i need it but it might make a nice server or something :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

Take these numbers with a +/-10% margin

CPU comparision - http://cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp%5B%5D=1781&cmp%5B%5D=390

GPU comparision - http://videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp%5B%5D=36&cmp%5B%5D=2815

They are fairly comparable, The Phenom rig is slightly less powerful, but you would have a similar Gaming experience.
