Fan speed issue..

HelplmChoking

So, I use a Hyper 212 Evo, and Fan Xpert to set up fan curves etc. I recently did a fan speed test on the CPU fan, and it shoes that the fan runs at 991-995rpm regardless of power (see screenshot). What the heck is going on here? It used to do fine, but now it seems locked at ~1000rpm. This isn't super important, as my new x79 motherboard is coming in a few days, so fan control will be done by that board, but I'd still like to fix this.

well try toggling between pwm and dc at the qfan in the UEFI/bios

my motherboard cant control the fan if its at DC but can control when its set to pwm

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I'll give it a shot, since HWMonitor doesn't list any PWN fans.

Hmm I don't have a PWM/DC option. Its still stuck at %1000 rpm :/ should I disable the in BIOS fan control and just try to use AI Suite?
