Mobo for fx 6300

I'm planning my build and I intend on using and amd fx 6300 cpu but I'm still fuzzy on the mobo. I'm thinking the asus m5a99fx pro 2.0. Is this overkill, enough or too little? Thanks!

I say MSI 970 Gaming or the ASUS 970 Aura is good if you plan to not OC to far! :)

cheapest 970 board you can get here,because chances are you're gonna upgrade to Zen or Intel anyway might as well spend cheap as possible for now.
