Okay so something is wrong with Just Cause 3 on my PC. I am trying to play it but it is unplayable. I have the EXACT same fps at 1080p with the settings one 100% maxed out as I do at 1024 by something (the absolute lowest resolution the game will run at) with all the lowest settings possible. With vsync off I get max of 87FPS (when I am standing still) exactly with both resolutions and settings (actually have tried all resolutions and all graphical settings) and dips right at 27FPS (while flying under and moving the camera angle around at a certain column) while all playing in the exact same area. It hovers exactly at 61fps to 59fps when slowly moving and 45 fps when twirling the camera angle and running. What the actual hell is up with this game? I have no other problems in any other game other then this one. Is there a mod or something that can change this. Like this shouldn't be happening. There is no way my hardware is the problem.

I have a R9 280X and a FX-8320 at 4ghz, nothing special but surely enough to play most games on medium to ultra at 1080p.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

It's poorly optimized. Probably nothing you can do.

Poorly optimized? It seems to me like the frame rates are fixed based on what you are doing rather then the graphical settings and the resolution. There is no reason the lowest resolution and 1080p should have identical fps.

So, yes, poorly optimized. It's even worse on consoles.

It runs pretty poorly on AMD GPUs last time I checked. Also AMD CPUs as well so that's not a good combo for JC3.
