Crashes in Splinter Cell Blacklist

So recently I've started to play Splinter Cell: Blacklist, having said that i can't get 5 mins into the first level before the game crashes, i've updated it, turned all settings way down, and even dropped my overclock on my graphics card, This is a freebee from Nvidia, so it is required to use Uplay. Is there a way to add it to steam, or make it playable?

Is it JUST crashes on the game? Try to see if any of your programs that you have running might be affecting it.

yea mid mission it just crashes no driver crash just game crash, I've noticed that it takes up massive amounts of CPU, launching it the game goes to 95-100% CPU usage, than drops down to maybe 45-60%

Have you upgraded your driver to 326.80? 326.80 is optimized for SCB. You might also try setting Nvidia control panel to default, I had issues before setting it to default although that was before downloading 326.80.

Try to exit out of ALL programs. Kill anything in Task Manager that might be taking too much power ( except for IMPORTANT programs like explorer.exe and such)

The patch should download automatically when launching Uplay. There's also a 1.02 patch for PC...

The cpu utilization was at 1.3% before launch and after crash.

The default settings that Nvidia control Panel comes set at (may not be an issue after installing 326.80 and the patches). Also make sure Uplay downloads & installs 1.01 & 1.02 (I believe you need both), if not you can download them at the Splinter Cell Blacklist site.

Be sure to wait for the install bar to close on its own. When I installed the patch I closed the window with the install bar because it looked like it was finished, but when I did it didn't actually upgrade the game.

I've let it update all on its own when the bar was done it asked to launch game and i chose yes, than it installed the update and launched. When launch the game again it dosn't allow for a update it says the game is up to date, and to download it directly from the site it would take 5 hours with my internet

Yeah, it's pretty good, although my card doesn't overclock much over stock boost. :(

This is a very GPU dependent game.. I have a 4770k and 2x 780's in SLI and anything higher than fxaa will massively drop fps. Also I'm using the beta driver too.

I've had a few crashes but with fxaa it won't crash.
