Hi.

I bought a composite to VGA converter box only to find out I had actually bought the wrong one.

It is VGA to video with a composite out over composite in.

Is there a way to use the composite out as a composite in port?

Thanks, Alpha.

It depends how they wire it, if they are just a straight pass through or adapter like theses cable it might work. I would give it a go and see if it works or not.

It is a box like this, minus the LED light.

Thanks again, these boxes aren't cheap so I would love to get it working! -Alpha.

The cable version in the photo can operate in either direction since it's just physically changing the format of the connector, but if it's an active adapter that does processing or power in from what that one in the image looks like it may not work on both directions. As said though it wouldn't hurt giving it a try but I don't think they will function backwards unless it's just a different format of the cable type ones.

I tried it when I first got it but to my dismay, it didn't work.

I will work something out. Thanks for your help, Alpha.
