Hi Guys,

Looking to build a killer PC. Neweggs price is ~$5000AUD. Looked up Amazon and they seem to be substantially cheaper. But I did a search for an Intel 750 SSD and it came up with 2 that look identical with a $300 price difference. Am I missing something here?. Why would they list the same product twice with different prices?

So when you purchase off of Amazon.com you can buy things off Amazon from other people.  For example, the two that you have linked here are sold from two different sellers "Moon Tech" and "KW-TECH".  You can click on each one and see their "seller raitings" and then you'll have a good idea of what to expect of them.  This is different than the item reviews.  (also please ensure that you rate your experience so others know!)

Also notice that the one sold by "KW-TECH" is also fulfilled by Amazon.  This means that KW-TECH owns the item, but it is stored, shipped, and processed in a Amazon fulfillment center.

A tip for shopping like this, you need to make sure you actually shop by model number and make sure you read the full description to ensure its not used or anything like that.  This way you will get EXACTLY what you're looking for.  Amazon offers a "A to Z guaranteed" which says if its sold on Amazon, its guaranteed to be exactly as advertised.  Sometimes when new sellers appear on Amazon they might not have enough reviews to warn other customers of potential problems.  They might sell a item with a similar description but it wont be the model that you expect it to be.  Just want you to be warned up front.  But if it is listed as new, and it has a model number with it, it is guaranteed to be exactly what it says it is.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Hi Guys,

. Why would they list the same product twice with different prices?

Because the product is being sold through different stores who price things differently

example http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00VPK0JQ4/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

Depending on which store I choose it starts at $925, and goes to $1135

Dont forget, amazon is a marketplace not just a store

I remember Linus saying something about putting in a code when I shop at Amazon to support them. Where do I put that in?. Is there some sought of Linus discount I can get?. 5% would be $250

You need to use their link.  Its not a discount code it is a supporter code.  Linus gets some money from your purchase.
