Is Amd fx 6300 and a gtx 960 good together

Go to solution Solved by shadowbyte,

please don't buy a 6300

It's a dead platform as of now.

Look for an i3-6100 or similar and swap the 960 for a 380

How is emperical data subjective. Can I have whatever you are on?

It's one benchmark. There is not enough data to come to a proper, unbiased conclusion.

I'm still not seeing how that is subjective, there is nothing personal about it. It's an interpretation of factual evidence.

I gave you the rest of the data.

If you're looking for outher outlets for similar data. Good luck. Most other outlets i've seen are either running GPU bottlenecked scenario's or are too afraid to not pander to their audience and omit such comparisson charts.

Interpretations are subjective.

Oh pleaseee godly... That's a stretch and you know it. You used a buzzword inappropriately and are now trying to rationalise it.

There is nothing subjective about showing two benchmarks, I wasn't even leading the reader. Only providing the caveat that the first benchmark was GPU bottlenecked and doesn't represent the relative performance difference between the CPU's in question.

But that it was probably going to be enough for the 960. Though the i3 would provide a more futureproof soluition. However foolish futureproofing as a concept is.

So interpretations don't fall under this category?
