I have some how fix the problem ... don't how about when i booted up my computer today to do some work, it seem to fix the problem.

For some reason, im able not double click on word doc/docx files from my computer, I always have right click and run with or use open word and do file open. Other Microsoft office application files such as powerpoint works fine. This is legit copy version which my school provided like Microsoft 360 program which allow me to install them on 3 computers. This is kinda annoying for me to open word docs., i don't have this problem on my laptop.

OS: Windows 10 PRO N

Thanks

Maybe the file extension associations are messed up? Not sure how to check, but there is a way to see what file extensions are associated with what program, so double check the .docx extension . Does word start up when you run it normally?
