ftp FTP Problems

Hey guys,

 

I have a NAS server and I configurated everything the way I wanted it to.
The FTP works when I go in a browser and search for it with FTP://(IP to connect from outside the network:port)
It even works on my phone

but when using filezilla, It doesn't want to work.
Error:    The data connection could not be established: ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server

That's the error that I'm getting. I have no idea how to fix this, the Nas that I'm using is a NAS326 from Zyxel

You need to port forward port 20 as well as 21. Port 21 is just for sending commands, while port 20 is used for file transfer.

hmm.. I have encountered problems with that NAS before (not mine).

If I remember correctly, it does not support encrypted login, so you have to pass the login information to it in clear text via filezilla..
