PCI Express Question

Go to solution Solved by RedWulf,

most pci to sata cards are for RAID, but this one seems like a normal adapter/expansion

Hi If I have an old motherboard with an q6600 is there any way I can get the ssd or hard drive to be connected to a sata 3 port instead of the motherboards sata 2. I mean can I buy something like an PCI card which allows me to put the sata port into that and then have sata 3 speeds. Thank you
