Workstation Processor

Hello,

I am building a budget workstation pc (it is going to be used for a 3d modeling called bluebeam), and I need a processor that is able to render quickly, and is under 300 dollars.

I7 4790k is your best bet it hovers around the $300 price point and would be good for 3d modeling, if you want a better cpu try a 5820k or a 5930k as those will give you more processing power for modeling and such but they are more expensive

That's what I was looking at, but are there any xeon processors that would work? I haven't made many (actually any) work stations before, so i'm not sure exactly what to look for.

No overclocking? Xeon 1231 v3/1240 v3

there are a few but i don't know a ton about xeons, so idk exactly what you should get but i think it could be possible if your alright with buying used parts, theyre are some decent xeons and motherboards everywhere for rock bottom prices
