Hey!

I have a kind of odd question.

Is there any software that can change the crossover frequencies of your speakers?

I have an 8in sub that has a crossover frequency at 150Hz and it's driving me nuts.

I want the crossover to be at roughly 100Hz-120Hz since I have studio monitors that goes down to 55Hz.

HDD: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB     GPU: Asus GTX580 Matrix Platinum     PSU: Corsair AX850

Chances are that the crossover for that sub if it's like a 2.1 setup will be built in and no matter what you do, unless you change it physically, nothing will change.

hmm... I guess I would have to either change the crossover in the amp or buy a new sub?

If its a fixed crossover in the amp, you could always modify the amp.

I'm not too technical when it comes to that kind of stuff, what's a fixed crossover and how do I know if I have one?

Asus Xonar cards' software comes with a crossover tool (FlexBass). Not sure if its any good though.

I don't want to buy a new soundcard but thanks anyways =)
