Plans on first PC build what do you think

Hello planning on building my very fist pc here are the specs

-cpu I5 6500

-gpu msi gtx 960 4gb

-mobo asrock b150 combo-g

-case nzxt S340

-hdd wd green 1tb

-cooler corsair hydro h55

-ram hyper x fury 2400mhx

(Excuse my English I'm not the best at it)

1. No need to get an AIO cooler for a locked CPU. A cheap air cooler would do just fine.

 

2. The R9 380 performs better than the GTX 960 in gaming.

 

3. The WD Green drives are not known for reliability. The Caviar Blue would be a much better choice.

 

4. PSU?

I would stick with the stock cooler for the i5 6500 since it's sufficient for its stock speeds and get a R9 380 and a SSD with the money you saved from the cooler.

You might consider the Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler instead of the H55. Or even stay with the stock Intel that comes with the cpu.

 

WD Green are not appropriate as primary drives. You might consider going with a Seagate Barracuda.

 

If you could fit an ssd into the build, 120GB or larger, it would be a big improvement.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
