help No audio from a second program

Hi, 
So I have this new issue which makes it so I can't hear audio from Skype or teamspeak while I have a game open. This is a very recent and quite annoying problem! 

If I first open the programs before the games I can hear audio from them but not the game, and the opposite if I open them after. I have gone into sound in the control panel and made it so programs can't take control of the audio, but it hasn't worked  

If anyone has a fix or can help me, that would be appreciated!

Try this below:

 

1.  Open Run by pressing Windows+R then type mmsys.cpl

2.  Click the Communications tab.

3.  Select Do Nothing. Click OK.

 

If still the issue persists;

 

Open Start Menu - Control Panel - Sound

 

Select the device "speakers and dual headphone" or whatever shows up in your computer
on the bottom right then properties

 

It will open property pannel for the selected device and you will see following tabs

Click on the Advanced tab
uncheck where it says Allow application to take exclusive control of this device
