So, I was helping my FRC team assemble our robot for competition, and was inspired by our robot status light. It uses a two pin connector just like the ones used for power and hard drive status. I wanna buy one to mod onto my case, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anybody know where to get one?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

What light are you talking about specifically, for the two pin connections those would be dupont type connectors but are low power connectors.

The big orange one that indicates if the robot is on. Two pin, plugs into the Rio.

Those run at 12V so it will require some modding or a control circuit to control or vary the intensity of the light output to what the drive activity would be. It may be easier to possible get a casing or light housing similar to that and use a single 5 or 10mm LED inside as the indicator off of the front panel connector that would require less wiring and not be overly bright.

can you recommend something similar I can plug in my front panel connectors? All I'm really looking for is a blue light with some mechanical bulk to it that I can put in with minimal effort.

It will need to be modded, the simplest would be something like this where you replace the old LED with this and install it into place, if you can get a mini domed housing putting the LED inside there would work:
