Kodak PIXPRO SP360, any good?

Does anyone have experience with this camera? if so how is the quality and how does it compare to something like a go pro. I am specifically referring to the standard model, not the new 4K version.

Any alternative recommendations?

The quality is not as good but it shoots 360 (well 180 technically)

 

Unless you want to shoot 360 I would personally avoid, they are a pain to mount too

its the 360 video that I am interested in

Nikons new 360 camera records a full 360 sphere, as it has two lenses where the kodak technically only records 180

Well pricing isn't announced and it's probably going to be significantly more expensive.

Then the kodak is fine, its not a bad camera, just not something I would ever want

I think the idea of 360 video is great, I would like the ability to supplement my still photography and my videos with a panoramic view. It's just interesting because you are able to take in everything in your surroundings and view it rather than just what you are focusing on at the moment.

The Ricoh Theta S is an awesome bit of kit, hoping the next model is even sharper
