I think it depends alot on what you want to spend. But 144hz freesync for mainly gaming, this is the best option imo.

These overly bright and fast monitors are great for  gaming. It works for me because i have another one on top connected to another PC.

What you can do is keep your current one in extended or clone mode. But only if you have the space for it ofc.

Im thinking of getting the AOC led g2460pf for budget reasons.

I want a freesync 144hz monitor and im wondering if i should save for this benq - BenQ LED XL2730Z , as it is more than double the price its gonna take me alot of time to buy.

Is it really that different? or does the AOC enough for people who wants the picture to be nice quality but 144hz ,competitive edge with the freesync combined is more important for them?

I know that my english isnt that good , if you do not understand anything , please tell me =)

The main difference is the resolution. If that matters to you you might want to save. Of course, no point in getting higher resolution if you can't run it.

What GPU do you have?

I have an r9 390 from msi,  the main thing that concerns me is the picture quality and not the resolution. But if you think that i can run that resolution i might consider it.

You probably could, though not at 144 hz. More likely your GPU could only pump out around 60 hz at high or ultra settings. It would be a little bit of a waste of your Gpus power.

Hello, i bought this model:

AOC G2460PF  144hz freesync

It has a TN panel i'm not sure of there is a led IPS panel.

I have a R9 390 and it works great. Gaming is smooth like a baby's butt.

My main problem with it is the color bit depth. For example in blue sky pictures, you can ser diferent bands of color.

Its overly bright also, wich is nice for FPS and gaming in general, but for day to day use i cannot recoment.

What i did is connect my old 60hz LG IPS panel to my ITX low watt consuming pc and use it for windows and watch vídeos.

The AOC gives really good advantage in gaming, no question there. But at a cost of lower image..... I don't wanna say quality.... Fidelity is a better word.

Anyhow, here is my 2 cents. I cannot recoment if you want it for everything, like videos, web browsing... Day to day use etc. But if is to use 90% of the time in gaming for the price its a great deal.

I'm sorry if didn't explain myself very well, if you have any question, fell free to ask.

Cumps.
