I'm looking to order all the components for my first PC build as soon as possible but before i did i thought it may be a good idea to post the build here and see if anyone has any tips for me and if anyone knows then to see if all the parts are compatible.

-  AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor

- Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-D3H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard

- Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

- CiT Dragon 3 Midi Case

- PSU I'm not sure of

Total cost is £289.92 + cost of PSU (im trying to keep the build under £320

Here are the websites, not all the components were on pcpartspicker

hmm... i really woudnt recommend buying a full desktop at this price... all your can afford are low end stuffs that doesnt make sense

perhaps try saving up, a pc that cost $800 or 900 would be more worth the money to buy

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

No that build is okay for casual games like cs:go and league.

Nothing fancy but will get the job done at a stable fps once he drops some settings.

Not as much as a potato as you imagined.

a 950 is 50% faster than the 750ti, so yes thats a huge gap
also the 950 supports more features

i really wouldnt recommend anything below 750ti, even for low end

might as well get a powerful processor and run onboard graphics until u can afford better gpu

so should i get the EVGA 500w and the Gigabyte GTX 950 OC? it'll be a little over what i planned to spend but I'd be alright with that if its improves it a lot

well MY minimum spec would be a 4th gen i3, a 750ti or 950, a normal motherboard, a tier 3 or 4 psu, and any case that fits my system
as well as a small hard disk (can expand when u have the cash)

Hey OP,

The build looks generally good. Depending on the games you want to run, you shouldn't have any problems as long as you're realistic about the graphical settings you will run.

I've made a couple of changes, mainly the motherboard and adding a PSU. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/8TjbFT

If you're getting this processor, I would look at also buying a better CPU cooler and overclocking it. The new motherboard will also help with this.
