Anyone got any ideas on wireless charging pads? im interested in getting one since im always on the go and i dont like connecting and disconnecting my phone

Looks good to me. Consider this Aukey http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-Aukey-Charging-Qi-Enabled/dp/B019WEURSY/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1456897625&sr=1-1&keywords=aukey+wireless+charger. I bought one of their quick charge 2.0 chargers and it's pretty great. The connector on the cable starts nice, but it's not durable at all, I just had to throw the cable out a week or two ago because it was flopping around inside the connector housing causing all sorts of issues with locking. Other than that, Aukey is a good brand, and for $10 cheaper, can't hurt, right?

Also, i have an otterbox so i dont know if that would effect the charging in any way. like if i put it on the charger, it wont charge correctly or not.

It might, I don't know what the range is on charging but I'd assume it's less than 2cm. Check Otterbox's website and see if they list wireless charging compatibility.

I thought wireless charging was a good idea until I saw how slow it was. Thought about a dock instead?

too slow? really? lol wired quick charge is like 1 hour 50 minutes. wireless charging is like 2h50 minutes. 1 hour isnt a long time.

You don't think an hour extra is long? I'd rather plug it in and charge it quicker than wait an extra hour for wireless...

An hour isnt much. now the older models take like 4 hours to charge

It is when you're on the go often. Are you using a wall outlet to charge your phone? Shouldn't take more than an hour.

i have a note 5 and a charging pad and both work just fine all though i will say the back of the phone does get a bit warm after word
