So I was just wondering if there was any business out there that I could pay to make a custom sidepanel(or in this case "top panel"?) for my case? I don't have the materials/tools/expertise to do it myself.

I've done it before, and I'm 12. You just cut the side (top) panel and use silicon to stick plexiglass on.

Like I said in my original post if you read it, I don't have the tools or materials. Thats great that you have access to them at 12, but I don't have anything that can cut my case, nor do I have plexiglass.

You could probably order a custom top panel, what case do you have?

Oh, I thought it would be one of those cube cases like the HAF XB.

Nah lol. Although the haf XB was gonna be my second choice. Surely theres some modder out there that does this service or something?

There is that business that did Linus' custom case, I don't remember the name though. Should be in the first episode of his custom case series.

thought they just did custom cases? I already got the case, I just need someone to make an over-glorified hole in a sheet of 1mm thick steel and slap a sheet of plexi to it. xD Didnt think it would be that complicated for someone with the right tools lol.

I was just throwing it out there, maybe they will just do a panel? Any machine shop should be able to do it for you.

Any machine shop huh? Not a bad idea, maybe I should talk to some local business.

Where are you located?   Any machine shop should be willing to do it for you for a little bit of money, or they may even do it for free.

Unless you can find a shop to use a mill on it cheap I'd look for a metal fab shop that offers Laser and or water jet cutting both of those will give you a good finish.

Do you know of any PC modders that would do it by any chance? My concern with sending it to a shop is that they wouldn't understand what I'm trying to do, and would make the hole off center, or mess it up somehow. Call me paranoid but I'd prefer to send it to someone who is used to modding PCs.

We do it for people but because its a custom piece and our time it limited we charge around 120.00 plus the cost of shipping it back and forth. I don't know any modders in the north east that do any of that. I also worry about trying to find someone that can truly do a factory type finish on a window. We're a little backed up right now but I think I could get it done in a couple weeks.
