Massdrop

Hi, im wondering if any of you guys have ever order anything on massdrop.com ? I just ordered a new keyboard there, i have no clue what it means that i joined a poll and soo on.

I live in Norway and i have no clue when it will be shipped or if i have to pay extra taxx ? I mean the shipping costs like 20$ to Norway.

It says that the poll ends in 5days.

It says that drop ships April 1st, probably gonna take a few days after they ship for you to get it. Especially international mail.

Yeah I've bought a few things off them.

It'll take a little while to ship, since the manufacturer ships to them and them to you, but the page says estimated 1st April. 

I just keep updated with them by following the comments tab and looking out for MD employees talking about the updates.

 

If you pay tax upfront, you are fine. Otherwise you'll pay import tax, which I'm not sure for Norway. UK is 20% + £8.

Thanks for replys guys! But in Norway there is something called "Moms" and no its not like mommy, its something you have to pay to get your item past the toll costumer, and i dont know if i have to pay extra or if the "taxx" icludes that ?

@tobben, how do i pay the additional fee ? Do i get a bill in the mail or something ?

Chances are you have to pay it to get the item from

the post office, that or possibly a bill/invoice if it fits

in the mail or is a door delivery.

Oh, because i have this one friend who ordered something from amazon, he didnt get the package because he hadnt payed the extra fee, and he did not get anything in the mail. The package was stuck in america somewhere in toll costumes.

The toll is handled in Norway, when it crosses the border.

So that sounds rather strange.. probably a misunderstanding

of some sort.

 

It isn't impossible that the package can get held up in the toll.

If it is suspicious, contains food, has high value, is big, heavy,

doesn't look like it matches the description/items it should

contain etc... 

 

But in that case it will be held up at the border while they send

you a letter inquiring further information, such as a receipt 

and/or a description. That is unlikely to happen with a keyboard

though.

 

Paying tolling fees and such happens after the shipping.

Massdrop in a nutshell, from what i hear you can expect 3

@tobben 2bad massdrop doesnt have any competition regarding that keyboard, i would definitly pay 20-30bucks extra for faster delivery!
