Armageddon

Dinobeano2

This build will be in a custom desk I've designed to allow it all to be custom water cooled.

So, so far this is the parts I've decided on using:

Asus ROG Maximus VIII Formula

Intel core i7 6700k

2 EVGA GeForce GTX 980 TI

32GB Avexir Blitz 1.1 DDR4

2 Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD

2 WD Red 4TB HDD

Corsair AX1500i power supply

Asus VN289H 28" monitor

Thats what I have so far, if you have any ideas, questions, or concerns please feel free to comment :)

You are a bit overkill on the psu, also I wouldn't recommend western digital  reds for general use.

Why not Reds ? What else do you recommend

If in a RAID array you might consider HGST NAS Desktop drives.

That psu would likely power two systems like the one in the OP. Even with custom loops.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Beginning the Sketch up of the actual desk itself and laying out all the components. For this build I'm using both a custom HDD as well as SSD water cooled rack. Updates tommorow :)

After looking at other options and an increase in budget for this project I will be switching from the Avexir blitz 1.1 to Corsair Dominator Platinum ??
