Hello so after i updated my ps store and when i press x to enter it ps store just keep loading and loading when i was holdin ps button it didnt want to quit. But later i somehow quited but my ps3 restarted by itself. Does dat mean slmething bad console is okd 1.5 year and its superslim 500gb model. It restarted just like that 2 times this one and when ihad bug with cod bo

Well, no not likely. I mean, I would try to have backups of as much of your data as possible in case it causes some kind of data corruption, but it shouldn't harm the console itself. Backups are also good if your console does die out because it can be restored to the new console.

Aha ok tell me how can i know when hdd is dying put when how long can ps3 hdd work properly?

If you start encountering a lot of errors, or the drive starts making terrible noises. The hard drive in a PS3 is no different than a laptop hard drive, and if it does fail, you can replace it. But I don't think you have anything to worry about honestly in terms of the hard drive's lifespan.

Well shit just now i wanted to get it to safe mode again and needed to turn it of and on alot fuck hope nothing bad happens jesus...

Bcs it always writes i need to cknnect some slrt of media to back it up from xbm menu or something like that

Hey when u mentioned dat noise if hdd is going to die out is it rly loid mine ps3 while playing hdd games ks really quite only when i play on disc then i hear disc hlw its loading game nothkng else anyway i restored ps3 system whole hope da helps

Do you mean using a physical disc that you insert into the console?

Optical drives tend to be very audible, so that's normal. But I'm talking about the actual internal hard drive which is completely different.

Yes, the disc would be loading when you hear that noise but he is talking about the hard drive inside of the system, if that is making noise you will likely need to get the internal hard drive replaced.

No its not hdd cause ghat noise what i hear is just from ps3 loading disc textures and so kn like old ps2 used to not dat lojd but when i play hdd games its all quiet.

Than it shouldn't be the hard drive. It could just be the OS freezes and buges out. Has it done this multiple times or just once?

As i sad hdd in ps3 1.5 year old like ps3 if my pc hdd didnt die out it has 80 gigs and its old 11years and pc was restarded so much time full of viruses i doubt this one will die out so soon.

Its alright it only happens when my cod bo freezes and when i try to quit it it restarts its been sveral times since then nothing till today only on this ps store update npw its fine. I can use ps store like before.

The sound i hear is lodu below medium but thats probably cooling right?

See i dont use PS Store that often so i most likely dont have the same update as you do but i do know that it might be just a system bug and once when Sony gets notified they will send out a new PS Store update and it should get fix but if it is something just on you PS than i dont really know what to tell you than run some spyware or virus scans on your hard drive 

     But the noise you hear is the fans cooling the system as the way you are explaining it but we are not there so we have to go by the way the user explains it to us. it definitely seems like it would be the fans though and if it keeps doing the freezing and restarting ON PS STORE than it might just be a bug on PS Store

The freezing you said happens to me on COD BO2 but i know that mine is from the system being staved of air and it gets over heated and this also might be why your COD BO freezes also.

     The noise might be the fans over working and being starved of air when fans are starved they do tend to get a bit winy.
