Rant about talktalk...

I have absolutely no where else to release my anger with talktalk...I placed an order for 76/18mbps fiber on the 25th as I saw on the openreach's website how my cabinet was FINALLY ACCEPTING ORDERS , it was first quoted as it would be installed on the 26th. I ordered the upgrade, one hour later, I decided to quickly check when the router might be coming (as you have to also have a new router full of problems to connect the fiber network therefore leaving the one they gave me 3 years ago obsolete...which may not a 801.2ac wifi but it doesn't just drop the connection every 5 seconds) and I saw how it was going to be pushed back 12 days to the 7th march so I thought, okay that's bearable...just (as I used to have a 75mbps connection in my old house 3 years ago but when we moved house, it dropped all the way down to 8mbps as fiber wasn't available, ADSL for the win...not) and I decided to check today again..." 15 March 2016 ", so instead of a 12 day wait, it becomes 21 days, just 3 more days and it's double the wait, 3 weeks, 3 weeks to change ONE or TWO CABLES AS IT'S A FTTC CONNECTION, even talktalk, BT and openreach all claim that it can be switched in less than 15 mins...I would leave talktalk but everyone else's prices are £10 more per month...I've contacted support, they all said they didn't know, got juggled between the network/fiber department and questions about an new order department, they just kept on telling me contact the other department.

I feel you pain man. We bave TalkTalk and get 6.5/0.5 and can only update to 17/1 with FTTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have s*t customer service and are just ass holes like all other ISP (except google fibre, i think. well we can never get that. UK for the win! not)

Why does all companies except virgin media use BT openreach cables? I used to have virgin before moving house and it was so much better, even though it was when they throttled their users during peak times but come on, from a 50 down to 15, while not affecting ping was fine for me
