  • Asus Z170 Pro Gaming ATX 1151
  • Intel Skylake Core i5-6600K / 3.5 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.9 GHz)
  • Samsung EVO 850 MZ-75E250B/EU 250Go
  • Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 3,5" SATA III 7200 tours/min 1 To
  • Corsair CW-9060007-WW Hydro Series H60 2013 120mm

Why are you getting the define r4? Why not the define r5? Also get an evga g2 750w as the psu or even the 650w version. That PSU you have choosen there is not the best. Also I would recommend the WD Blue 7200rmp 1TB.

I would maybe look at a different PSU - I have heard some iffy things about the VS series. Go for a good quality PSU, not a cheap one. You don't need a large wattage, but yeh look for good quality ones. I went with an AX760 but that is pretty pricey. The 970 could potentially come down in price with the release of the Pascal stuff, and people around here will suggest you try the R9 390 from AMD. Both are good cards, but if you are happy to wait a little bit until the release of pascal then do. Otherwise either the R9 390 or the 970 will be fine - if you plan on greater than 1080p resolution and cannot wait for a price drop go with the 390.

Different PSU, EVGA G2 / NEX, Antec High Current Gamer, or anything Seasonic. The rest of your build is perfectly fine-

Also use PCPartPicker.Com it's a super useful tool and everyone on this forum will love you for using it.

Thank you guys, I really appreciate your help !

I'll get a EVGA 500W. Other PSU are out of my budget (I'm living int Europe, EVGA G2 is around 130$ here).

PCPartPicker.com makes things so much easier for everyone. Even if one is not buying in one of its supported countries, one can easily ignore pricing or even enter local pricing.

DDR4-2400 CL 15 or higher performance is better and usually available at the same price point. If this is mostly a gaming and general use rig, 2x4GB is more than sufficient.

I am not a fan of the single fan AIO cpu coolers.

I would suggest a better psu. If budget is needed for this, go with a less expensive 240GB+ ssd.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

That PSU is just as bad. Look for anything Seasonic or XFX (Super flower is good too)

Thank you TheRandomness, I will check these. Is 500W enough ?

Yeah, it's fine. More than 650W is overkill for single GPU systems.

Thank you, again. You input is very valuable to me.

You might consider non-modular psu. They are often less than expensive. Seasonic make some oem models that are sometimes offered by merchants. SSP-550RT may suit. Also look for Superflower psu are often available in Europe. They make a number of excellent models. Antec HCG-520M or HCG-620M may also be reasonably priced. If you find something ask about here (with model number) to see if it would be a good choice.

The R9 390 does better than the GTX 970 in most gaming titles at most resolutions.
