I'm using the AF120's and they don't seem to be as loud as my old fans.

Hello,

I am looking for fans that are more effective at cooling and much quieter at full speed than the stock Corsair fans on my H105, any suggestions?

I don't care for aesthetics.

Cheers.

Notcua is the best, and you know what's better then Noctua fans? Noctua LTT edition fans!

maybe the fractal Venturi HP-12 PWM fans?

Deciding between those and the Corsair AF120's. The Corsair fans are listed as case fans, would it be less effective to use on my radiator?

Alright so I guess I'll get the Fractal fans? Should be much quieter than these SP120's yeah?

going by the specs:

SP120L
Max RPM: 2700 RPM
CFM: 74.42
Fan Noise: 37.68 Dba

Venturi HP14:

78.1CFM at 1500RPM while reaching up to 30.1dB(A).

Venturi HP12:

61.4CFM at 1800RPM while reaching up to 31.7dB(A).

Going from this, the best option would be the Venturi HP14 using the optional mounting kit (included) so they fit on 120mm mounts (providing you have clearance)

Actually somehow missed the SP120 part :P

I'm asking if the 5-7db difference will be noticeable.

7db less will be noticeable, if the fans are not quiet like advertised you should be able to return them no?
