Need help with choosing new CPU cooler

I'm upgrading my computer ( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/D263qs ) and need a cooler for my 8350 to fit in the 450D, I was thinking a Noctua NH-U14S or a D-15 if it would fit. Or a Dark Rock 3 possibly. I plan to do some overclocking in the future but not much. Any suggestions would help, thanks for your time.

According to pcpartpicker, both the Dark rock 3 and the D-15 would fit in your case, and they usually have pretty good data about that stuff. I'm not sure about ram clearance with those coolers though, because your RAM sticks have those tall heat spreaders. You might be more limited in how you can mount the cooler because of that.

As far as suggestions go, any of those coolers should be just fine even with a moderate overclock, and I think the Dark Rock 3 looks really good with the aesthetic if your case.

I doubt it'd fit. A NH-U14S would fit for sure and is a great cooler.

If you're not pushing for a massive oc, you can save some money with a cheaper cooler: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk009
