WAN NAS

Can someone give me a free program to set up an wan Nas as well as instructions on how to set it up. 

 

By wan Nas I mean make a computer a sort of Nas while making it accessible to computers outside of your network.

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work. 

 

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

 

 

My PC:

Cooling: Noctua NH-D15. 3 Intake Fans, 2 Outtake

Case: Fractal Design Define R6

Can I make a NAS accessible to others outside my network?

For accessing it from the internet, VPN is a good solution. Some NAS OS' might have easily configurable plugins to create this scenario so you should check out those.

You can port forward your router to make the nas remotely accessable.
