Well realized i completely overlook the work OPERATING. So i guess this mean i can play comp again maybe. Maybe ill have to start from 0 wins again idk. Anyways guys thanks for pointing this stuff out to me and fuck valve

U will be allowed to play comp after but as that knife plugin is banned, valve don't let u use it, so if u get caught u get banned

its kinds dumb because its was the weapon paints and knife plugin for my private server and i literally had no idea you could be banned for stupid shit like that

the ban is for hosting, he can play after a week

You need to contact customer support and see if you can get the ban removed but looking at that message I'd say you're full on banned from comp for life.

yeah dude i used this https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=261288 (i had it installed before the red warning above the picture) and this https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=243254 kinda dumb you know at least instead of getting the ban you just get a notification saying you have illegal plugins on your server

Well Valve is very strict, I wish it wouldn't instantly ban you if you do it in a local match. But instead it'd put you on a watch list of some sort. Oh well.

i was changing the weapon skins with ws plugin. Really only reason i got it was to try out skins to see how i like them. i was thinking of buying a m9 bayonet marble fade and i wanted to see what it looked like in person and other skins so i downloaded it. so basically valve doesn't want me to try out skins then spend money on their shit. Really i do not think valve should be doing this cause like how is it hurting people or their profit from people trying out skins in a private server

oh and forgot to say i guess its like "stealing the skin without buying it" like cool its a skin but the second you leave the server their gone till you come back its like you only have those skins when your on the server
