My current specs are:

i5 4460

evga 970 ftw+

shit board

8gb ram

I currently have 2 dual monitors. benq 60hz 24 inch.

What I am wanting to do is to add another monitor to the set up making it 3 monitors. I only want to game on the middle monitor of the 3 but keep them open for other things

the games I play is battlefield, Gta and dark souls

If I get a 24/27 inch benq 144hz for the middle. Would my specs run bf4 and everything on ultra at 60 fps! Minimum

Monitors that aren't used for gaming/intensive tasks won't impact performance any meaningful amount. So 1080p @ 60fps Ultra shouldn't be a problem.

It might take some fiddling about to get the game to run on one monitor but you should be able to run it on ultra@60 if you're not doing anything intensive on the other two monitors.

I want to game just on the 27" 144hz  monitor but have the other 2 monitors running at 60 just running YouTube , obs, twitch and random tabs

Well, run whatever you'd be running on your second monitor right now, what kind of gaming performance do you get? You'll get similar performance if you add another non-gaming monitor.
