It stared a few years ago, I bought a beginner gaming rig off of Cyberpowerpc and been hooked ever since. I've been planning to build a decently high end gaming rig for over 3 years. Saving, waiting, watching, I finally gathered enough money to put my plan in action on Dec 2015. Why post a build blog now and not in December? Well i wanted to make sure i completely finished every thing about it before i presented it to you guys. I went several steps farther than just building a new pc. I converted my closet into a desk hung a tv on the wall, went triple 1440p display with a 1080p tv above, and after many long years of thinking and planning, Here is where im at. Only took $4000, but im very happy with what it turned out to be.

 

I haven't been a part of the LTT community for a long time but i've realized that its also not the place for me, so i guess its fitting that i started this build when i started LTT and now im going to end LTT on it. Theres just far too many bugs that just make the site barely usable to me. I had to remake this single post nearly 4 times due to LTT crashing and getting error 500 and 522s and others. So i guess i'v leave on a good note. I hope you guys like what i did and although i wont be on LTT hardly anymore, ill still visit every now and then. Maybe in the future when all the bugs are worked out i'll return.

Things left to do:

• Get a 8-10ft Display port cable so i can finish up cable management for the left monitor
• Another Msi 980ti for sli - but that wont come for a while

The desk is built into a closet, an oddly shaped one at that. so i had to cut the board to fit exactly.

The PC builders logic:

spends thousands of $$$ on a great PC with window > hides it under the desk on couple of books

 

But it looks awesome! Also nice specs.

 

But noo, don't leave  I just had 500 error too, but look, it's fixed! and that means that they are constantly working on that site and improving it!

Lol yea i needed to get it up off the floor so it wouldnt kill my psu. college books were the first things i found. Ill eventually cut a piece of wood much like the desk and custom fit it under the pc.

 

as far as bugs go, i encounter them every time i get on here. its just too buggy here atm

No. any pics in general. Finding one that looked or cropped good on my res was near impossible lol. not putting porn on my desktop lol especially when people will see it when they walk in

It getting there. had to crop the original into 3 even pieces. still need to adjust it a bit original image is 10000x4000 lol
