New Laptop Suggestions

Hello Guys,

i need to buy a laptop that can handle my work related to video rendering (only occasionally some live streams @ 720p or 540p) occasional gaming like Tomb raider , (i'm not a hardcore gamer), my main work will be for web development and softwares like VB Studio , phpstorm , adobe creative cloud etc

i was thinking about the laptop

HP Pavilion 15-ab214TX Notebook (N8L63PA) (6th Gen Intel Core i7- 8GB RAM- 1TB HDD- 39.62 cm (15.6)- Windows 10- 2GB Graphics)

which is around (64,000 INR or $933.56)

is there any better option then this in this price range or less

my budget is (60,000 INR or $875.22) which i can stretch upto (65,000 INR or $948.15)

i would appreciate all suggestions.

Thanks

Regards

I'm not about to rattle off laptops but to cut back the budget you should be fine with an fx-9xxx AMD or later gen i5.

custom laptops aren't worth it unless you make cases

Something like this should work, I don't do much with webdevelopment, call me script kiddie i guess, so you might need a hig clock rate.

950M and 960M are the same card

940M has quite a bit less CUDA cores, ROPs and TMUs

I misread, yes. 950M is superior. You can always add RAM and clockspeed is sort of irrelevant

Gaming on the 940M is good and 950M is better

only that the 940M has 64 bit and the 950M has 128 bit

but for your price range you can get better laptops

although the i7 is 4th gen

Avoid the Y50 touch model, get a standard FHD IPS one

actually i think i'll prefer the latest get to be future proof for some years as i'm not planing to buy another for quite some time,

and i know that we can expand memory but the expandable on  Asus-R510JX-DM230T is upto 8GB (4+4) only if i read correct,

anything under 1000$ will be fine for me i think i'll be able to manage that much

I wouldn't suggest Pavilions - cooling is barely capable - get the 7559 if you want a gaming laptop

I'd still choose the Inspiron

Better cooling means longer life
It's also much easier to upgrade and Dell offer better support
