What could be wrong

I wanted to buy a used mobo but it says that this is for parts or not working and this is what the seller put : I do not know what is wrong with the Motherboard. It seems to power on, CPU fan comes and Video Card fan comes on, but that is all.

What could the issue be?

Do you physically have it? How could we possibly figure that out?

Sight unseen, that's a tough call. It could be that the guy's GPU is dead and he's just not getting a signal, could be his RAM is bad, could be his CPU was bad, or it could be the BIOS needs to be reset / the motherboard itself is bad. If they're not asking like $10 or $20 for the "dead" motherboard, I wouldn't chance it.

I might buy it and report back about the issue, I think it may be a dead cpu

They're asking $10 so yeah i might snatch it up
