Gtx 780ti block compatible with 980 ti?

I have a 780ti with an ek full cover block on it right now. I was looking at upgrading the gpu, but since its watercooled, getting a new block would be additional costs over the already expensive 980 ti.

On the ek website the compatibility list for my block does not list the 980 ti, however from looking at some pictures, the pcb layouts and screw holes seem fairly similar.
