960 or 970

Lately my r7 360 has been a bit laggy and I've been wanting an upgrade.

so I've been looking at the gtx 960 and 970 and I've been wondering wich one I is the rigth one for my needs. there is a 140dollar price difference (the 960 is on sale). the games I play the most is need for speed/the crew and bt4 and some counter strike. Help me chose!

R9 390. Same price range as the 970 but generally performs better.

If you got spare cash laying around  970 ALL the way, if you want to save some cash 960 is still a VERY good choice. You could also wait till april time for new GPUs. You processor is very strong so i would suggest 970 with it.

r9 380 is faster than the gtx 960 for the same price, and either one of those go 4gb of ram. The gtx 970 is faster but it really only has 3.5gb of ram

I would advice the 390 has som good deals going around now.
