Hey guys this could be a silly question but anyway. In australia the 780 (galaxy GC) edition is about 300 roughly more than the gigabyte 770 i'm thinking of getting, do you think it is worth that price difference?

300 what? iPhone 5S'?

I'm only kidding. Just go with the 770. It costs $300 AUD less for about a 20% drop in performance.

Also, wait for 9xxx series. @CoolBeans

That's fair enough. In that case a 770 will probably be a better option for you right this second.

Yeh true, hopefully i can get a nice little overclock going

Get a GTX 770 Lightning, because it has unlocked BIOS and support triple overvoltage. Overclock it to the max and it will perform on par with a GTX 780 at a lower price point. You might consider the 4GB version if you want to go for a SLI configuration in the near future.
