Potential 2kish Gaming Rig

Hey Guys!

Been doing some research on building a new gaming rig, and was wondering if anyone had any insight or suggestions on anything I could do differently!

MB: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000)

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake Proc w/ Corsair H100i Cooler

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

PSU: CORSAIR RMx RM750X 750W

Case: CM MasterCase Pro 5

OS:  Windows 10 Pro x64

Storage:  1x 500gb samsung ssd & 1x 4tb WD Black

Does this seem feasible?  I've got an elgato hd 60 pro capture card in my current rig, that I'm going to transfer, so this rig will primarily be used for gaming, and game capture recording.

Thanks in advance!

Mike W.

looks solid to me

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Sounds nice to me. If you want, you could change the AIO cooler, for a superior H110 GT/GTX,but other than that, maybe the power supply 800-900 Watts, if you plan on oceing cpu and gpu, but is quite nice otherwise :D

Thanks! I'm actually looking at the H100i V2 vs the original (or the H110!)  Looks like it was recently released.  I've got an h100i in my current rig, and it's pretty nice, but it actually has been clicking recently and I'm not sure why.  A buddy and I got ours at around the same time a while ago, and his is clicking as well, so I'm not sure if it's a common thing with the older model.

Yeah looks nice!  Might I suggest taking a look at Phantek's cases!  I love mine and allow for so much options with cooling in the future..
