Gpu fan problem!!

Go to solution Solved by shadowbyte,

it should be fine to run until fixed

my 290x sometimes maxes out its fans in like gta5

just don't constantly use the card with fans maxed

I have a evga gtx 980 ti and i was "playing around" with evga precision x overclock tool and i entered 110% on fan speed section and my gpu fan started spinning real fast like 3600 rpm so i shut down computer and everytime i start it up it goes right back to that speed it it safe to run till i fix it

Alright fixed it, guess i wont be

Using that anymore lol dont want to reck $600+ gpu

It's fine, just know what you're doing. There are some good YT videos to help you. The only real problem is if you put INSANE clocks to a low voltage, it'll fry the card pretty quickly.
