PCIe Arrangement

I have an Intel PCIe drive and a 980ti, I was told that the the graphics card goes in the X16_3 slot on the X99 deluxe and the intel drive in the X16_1 slot. Are those placements correct or do they need to be moved?

I don't keep up with X99, seeing "X99 Deluxe" sounded pretty generic to me. If OP said "Asus X99 Deluxe" then I wouldn't have asked.

I google'd "X99 Deluxe", the first results were Asus related so I assumed it was Asus.

gpu into 1st x16 slot, Intel PCIe into any other one.
