Hi.

I have this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 7

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4959#ov

I looked through support/drivers page and I found a drop down combo box where I had to select my operating system at and I could not find "Windows Vista" option. So I checked it on the internet and I found nothing about Windows Vista and the drivers being compatible with my mobo. Could you help me clarify this? Can I still use Windows Vista with all my chipset- and net/audio drivers installed? (on this mobo)

You might ask, why windows vista? Simple, that's the only full-legit copy of windows I got. And no I would not like to download/buy other OS.

Thank you.

(Rest of the specs:

32gb corsair vengance pro 2100mhz+

gtx-980ti single card

samsung 850 pro 256gb SSD

1TB seagate SSHD)

why can't you upgrade to a newer OS version?

Kinguin sells windows 10 keys for like 20 dollars.

In most cases, any drivers that do not list an old operating system would be compatible with most previous versions. I would try downloading the Windows 7 version as that is the most similar OS to Windows Vista and see if the drivers work, if not you may have to buy or download a new operating system :(

G2a provide a service called G2a Shield, where for 70 pence they will guarantee a working CD key, if the CD key is fake or does not work you will be able to get a full refund or another key.

I did give you an answer, this is the best answer I could give you to be honest, if the drivers aren't there then there is pretty much nothing you can do apart from upgrade your operating system,

Problem is that manufacturers don't feel need to support that old OS anymore. Its not like its actively being sold anywhere. So its just people who can't afford getting new ones. Win7 drivers might work. And if they don't, you always have generic drivers that Microsoft provides with Windows update.
