I am currently building a pc and was looking at the Gigabyte GA- Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. I am having a hard time finding a direct answer anywhere as to whether this motherboard can support an i7-6700K processor and if it will support DDR 4 ram. I am sorry if this is something that is obvious, but I am still kind of learning the ends and outs of different stuff when it comes to building. Also, if anyone has any information as to whether this motherboard will be ok with the new PASCAL GPU's that are coming later this year that would be awesome. I am just concerned because I think I saw where it is going to require NVlink connections. Thanks for any and all help.

No if you look here you will see all the CPUs the mobo supports.

The mobo is a lga1150 and the CPU is 1151.

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.

This will NOT support the 6700K because it is a Skylake processor. You can tell if motherboards support Skylake if it uses the LGA1151 socket or if the number of the chipset is higher than 100 (well, that's a simple way :P) ex. Z170, Q170, H110M, etc. If it supports Skylake, it will most likely support DDR4 unless the motherboard was built to use DDR3.
