I'm looking to buy a watch and I need some recommendations. What I'm looking for is nothing specific just maybe a watch that you own or a watch that is good. It doesn't have to be a smart watch I kind of just want it to tell the time. At least anything below 250 dollars.

I would wait until the new batch of watches come out. Qualcomm's new Snapdragon Wear 2100 will drive most of the new smartwatches and prices should fall on current gen watches.

I have been rocking a Bulova since I purchased mine while i was deployed inAfghanistan and that was 5 years ago and it still looks good. Also I ware mine everyday.  I personally wouldne buy a smart watch becouse you have to charge it. the only time my watch leaves my wrist is if I am working with circuts or      taking a shower

Seriously you can get a really great smart watch for under your budget. You can use it just to tell time, turn off notifications, and the best part is being able to change the face.

I was just thinking today why would anyone buy a traditional (dumb) watch when you can get a smart watch that does so much more for the same price.

I have a Citizen Eco-Drive watch that I purchased in 2010 that I wear daily and am very happy with. Slim enough that I don't bang it on things all the time. works well with both casual and formal clothing. Has no need to replace the battery due to the Eco-Drive which converts solar energy into watch energy. Tells the time and date...meets all the basic needs.
